Today served as a reminder of why we do what we do at Green Light International Trust. While on his way to the barber shop, our Director, Mr. Tawanda Makwiramiti, encountered a group of visually impaired individuals who were struggling to navigate without proper support. After a heartfelt conversation, he learned that they lacked white canes, which are essential for their safety and independence.
Upon returning to the office, he gathered several white canes and went back to distribute them to the group. Witnessing their relief and gratitude was a powerful moment that reaffirmed our commitment to uplifting those in need. White canes not only enhance mobility but also increase visibility at night, ensuring greater safety in busy environments.
Moments like these remind us that small actions can make a big impact. Let’s continue working toward a world where everyone can move confidently and with dignity. 💙💫
